• Clamp a small section of hair between the barrel and clamp arm, roll it up, and hold for a few seconds before releasing the clamp for perfectly-styled bends. 
• P.S. The clamp allows more control over your styling and its pressure increases shine!

Pro Tips

• For defined waves, begin clamping halfway down the section and roll the hair around the iron.  Open the clamp enough to move the iron down a few inches, roll again, and repeat until you reach the ends.
• Style the sections around the face by rolling the iron back and away for flattering, face-framing bends.
• When a section is rolled around the iron, vertically pull the iron down and out of the hair to elongate your curls or waves.
• For beachy waves and lots of movement, alternate the direction of the curls in each section and let them cool before combing through your hair.

200°F: 

• Fine, fragile, or synthetic hair
• You want looser waves and curls

325°F:

• Fine, type 1, or damaged hair
• You want to minimize flyaways

360°F: 

• Chemically-treated hair
• Finer type 2, type 3, and natural hair
• Thicker type 3 hair 

410°F:

• Ultra-thick hair
• You want tighter, long-lasting curls and waves
