• For extra shine and smoothing, clamp and glide the iron over the section before styling.
• Create sweeping, face-framing curtain bangs by curling away from the face. 
• Give your ponytail a little retro flip by horizontally rolling the ends up around the barrel once. 
• Style a faux-blowout look by wrapping a freshly curled section around 3 fingers (forming a roller shape) then secure with a duckbill clip while the curl cools.
• For thicker hair, start curling in the back and keep a little distance from the root to help tame volume. Fine hair? Take smaller sections and start in the front.
